3 Months Old

Miss Maya is 3 months old and wow...what a difference 3 months makes! She is starting to roll over, laugh, coo, and just graduated from the bassinet for her stroller to the big girl seat  She had her church dedication last Sunday and what a special time it was for us as a family. We have committed to raising her in a Godly, Christ-centered home with the greatest hope that she will love Jesus and follow Him with all her heart!

We had a great time seeing Brad's relatives from Pennsylvania, Texas, and Ohio at the Folkens Family Reunion. It was wonderful introducing Maya to her Great-Grandma Folkens for the first time. They are all such a fun group of people and we wish we could see them more often.

We had the shock of our lives last week when we witnessed a house on fire in our little subdivision at 2AM. It started in the garage and was caused by someone disposing of a cigarette butt in a bucket of sawdust...don't understand the thought process behind that!  Thank the good Lord above no one was hurt, but unfortunately two families are now out of their homes. Just a couple weeks before that Sara witnessed a 5-vehicle accident just feet away from her. Needless to say, she is little more cautious than normal lately!
