Hi everyone! Many of you have seen the amazing sunset photo Brad took of me at the end of my pregnancy with Maya. Upon suggestion of a friend of ours, we decided to enter it in the Parents.com Pregnant Belly Photo Contest...and we just found out it is a top 20 finalist out of over 2,000 entries!

So exciting for us, especially Brad as photography is a favorite hobby of his. We would be so grateful if you along with any friends or family would vote for it. You can VOTE ONCE EVERY DAY now through October 21st and you need to register in order to vote (annoying, but thank you for taking the time to register!). Be sure and select the sunset photo entitled "Expecting" when you place your vote.

5 Months Old

Hello Fall! What a beautiful time of year this is! Maya is now 5 months old and growing into a big girl right before our eyes. Hard to believe she now weighs twice as much as her birthweight! Her favorite things right now are standing with help, watching her dog Gracie, and put her feet in her mouth. September was a great month to spend time with friends and family. One big blessing this past month was our decision to join the support team of a Campus Crusade for Christ staff member. It is such a joy to help those doing the Lord's work all over the world, and make a new friend in the process. If you are interested in doing the same, let us know!

This month we are looking forward to the fun Fall activities we have planned...a trip to the pumpkin patch...our annual Galena trip...Glenn-Fest...dressing up for Halloween. Maya is going to have a blast during the month of October!
